Budapest ist traumhaft! Ein paar Tage hab ich mit meiner Schwester inwards der ungarischen Hauptstadt verbracht. So nah von Wien und trotzdem nation of war es mein erstes Mal dort. Hätte ich früher gewusst, dass es thence schön ist, wär ich bestimmt schon öfter mal hingefahren.
Unser Hotel: Mercure City Center. Es liegt sehr zentral mitten inwards der Fußgängerzone. Eine zentrumsnahe Lage ist bei der Auswahl des Hotels enorm wichtig, denn von hier aus kann human being seine Sightseeing-Trips perfekt planen. Empfehlenswert ist das Hotel Sofitel Chain Bridge, von dem aus human being einen super Ausblick auf operate beleuchtete Kettenbrücke und den Burgpalast hat.

Really cool plant-based burger bistro. They serve a sweet potato burger, bbq tofu steak burger, shiitake quinoa burgers (pictured below), curry lentil burger, broccoli burger as well as a mexican burger. Sounds good, right?!!

 ECOCAFE
Schönes, gemütliches Cafe inwards der Andrássy út auf dem Weg zum Heldenplatz. Fast alles hier ist bio. Die Paninis werden frisch zubereitet und sind richtig gut! Ihr müsst sie auf jeden Fall toasten lassen :) Es gibt auch vegane Torten und Energy Balls. 

Comfy organic café on Andrássy út. Had a toasted panini alongside loads of veggies. So yum! They every bit good serve vegan cakes as well as unloosen energy balls. 



EVENING WALKS & FUN
Die Foo Fighters sind der Grund warum wir überhaupt inwards Budapest waren. Wien nation of war nicht am Tourplan, Budapest schon. Und wenn human being eingeladen wird, muss human being ja hin, oder? :) Am Tag vor dem Konzert waren wir inwards einem schönen japanischen Restaurant direkt am Szechenyi Square essen. Es gab leider kaum Veganes, doch das nation of war voll inwards Ordnung. Die Omnis waren jedenfalls zufrieden. Oh! Der Sake ist sehr zu empfehlen ;)

Das Budaer Burgviertel mit der Fischer Bastei und der Matthiaskirche und den vielen kleinen Gässchen ist wunderschön! Die Burg gehört seit 1987 zum UNESCO Weltkulturerbe und ist natürlich DIE Touristenattraktion. Bus Nummer xvi bringt euch vom Szechenyi Square direkt rauf zur Burg - das Ticket kostet 450 Forint und könnt ihr inwards den meisten Bussen beim Fahrer bezahlen (Achtung - operate haben selten Wechselgeld!).
In und um Budapest gibt es außerdem sehr viele Thermalquellen. Wir haben uns das Szechenyi Spa rausgesucht, weil wir von den google-Bildern thence begeistert waren. Es liegt nur wenige Meter vom Heldenplatz entfernt. Eine Tageskarte mit Spint kostet umgerechnet etwa € 17. Das Bad bietet einige medizinische Behandlungen und auch Massagen und Pediküre an. Ich empfehle euch morgens hinzugehen, da auch unter der Woche viel los ist und operate Sonnenliegen knapp sind. Also Badesachen und Flip Flops auf jeden Fall einpacken - aber Vorsicht, human being rutscht auf den nassen Fliesen leicht aus! Wer übers Wochenende inwards Budapest ist, kann auch zu einer der wöchentlichen Bath Parties gehen.
Zufällig entdeckt haben wir operate Gozsdu Udvar - eine Passage im jüdischen Viertel zwischen der Kiraly Utca und Dob Utca mit Restaurants, Bars, Clubs & kleinen Geschäften. Hätten wir am Abend nicht schon etwas vorgehabt, wären wir sicher hier gelandet!
